This Training Program has in depth course material that walks you through what is physically happening in our bodies with anxiety, and what we can do about it. It also outlines many of the thought patterns that cause anxiety and stress so that we can begin to create awareness. Once we create awareness, then we can begin to build habits that retrain our brain.
We use meditative art, nature and eco therapy methods, mantras, meditation, and personalized herbal medicine.

WHY CAN I HELP YOU?
I have struggled with varying degrees of anxiety for most of my life. As a result, I have spent many years researching ways to deal with my own distress and anxiety and found ways that help me. I want to share them with you. I also have been living with someone with the most severe anxiety and depression I have ever seen for the past 4 years. Watching him suffer and learning what he is going through has driven me to want to help others like us both.
I understand what it is like to constantly worry about things that are not currently happening, things that are currently happening, and things that happened in the past all at once. It is very overwhelming! I used to end up in fetal position on the floor at times. Or in a state of panic unable to breathe. This is a journey and we are all works in progress, but these methods have allowed me to no longer be in positions like that for several years now.
Our bodies are not meant to be in a state of panic or stress long term. No wonder we get physical and mental symptoms at the same time.
When our stress response was developed as a species it was used for short spurts of dangerous situations that threatened our safety…such as…you guessed it! Tigers chasing you!!
Back when this fight-or-flight part of our brain, the amygdala was possibly developed, it was a lot more likely that a tiger might actually be chasing you. But today the “tigers” are our bills that need to be paid, being late for a meeting, getting our kids to school on time, being stuck in traffic, even the state of our planet overall. And they are constant, NOT in the short spurts our ancestors experienced.
The good news is we can retrain our brain. The amygdala function and response is out dated, but we are not doomed to stay this way. Neuroscience confirms that your brain changes throughout your lifetime, which is a concept known as neuroplasticity.
We already know that emotions, behaviors, experiences, and thoughts physically change the way your brain functions. Our habits and patterns strengthen the neuropathways for those behaviors. So if it can be done for negative patterns, it can be done for positive ones too.
I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed or like this is a major commitment, most of what we are doing here starts with just 15 minutes a day. And some things can even be done as you are going about your day doing other things.
The good news is you are already spending a lot of time and energy on worrying about things.
Bad habits and good habits take the same amount of energy.
So think of it as you are replacing the bad habits with good ones not adding more to your plate!

These exercises and brain training techniques work best when done on a consistent basis. Just as athletes have to train their bodies, we must train our minds.
In a group we can learn from each other, support each other, hold each other accountable, and get results faster!
Repetition and consistency are what is important for results and transformation.

In the ANXIETY WARRIORS CLUB we will have different monthly themes that we are working on together as we work towards our goals. Each month will then be broken down into exercises each week all leading us toward strengthening our coping skills for dealing with our stress response as well as training our brains to not be in that state as often to begin with.
Some examples of these MONTHLY THEMES might be:

Being aware of and controlling your breathing
Not worrying about what other people think
Then each week of the month will have a simple exercise to work on that will fall under one of the following categories:

Each month we will also have TWO GROUP CALLS where you can bring what you are struggling with, questions you have or wins you experience!
